Default Customizing a VG adding a 13 pin

Hi I 'm the proud owner of one of the new VG's it's an awesome Guitar I wouldn't part with this for even double the cash I paid. As I'm from Canada and the sticker price here was $2050.00 for a couple month's last year they were priced at 1699.00 unfortunitly I didn't see one that I liked. I like a guitar exspecialy a strat to have a certian feel and sound this one did I bought the Black with Rosewood Neck Model (very clapton) But right off the bat I had some problems they placed the tuning heads in the wrong positions re the taller ones were on string 4 and 5 Not 5 and 6 so that got fixed then I found the ground wasn't soidered on so I was getting a strange sound when the batterys would start dying so All fixed know and it's a great sounding Guitar but I want to go a step further and connect it to a VG99 lets face it I have the Roland Pickup so why not go all the way But Fender didn't install a 13 pin connector. Reason beening you wouldn't have only a Fender sound. So my Question is does anyone know how or what I need to do in order to add a 13 pin to this guitar. I sent mail to Fender they said they don't mod their Guitars and that it's not possible the shop I bought it from doesn't have a clue I also sent an E-Mail to Roland waiting for reply so anyone knowing how I can add the 13 pin please post a message

Thanks

Question I'm with you ...

Hello VGBoy,

I have both the same question AND have had no luck finding a good answer. So, if I ever do, I will let you know. You have to wonder why Fender didn't include both "strat"agies with the VG Strat
